I’ve amassed quite a collection of books about Turkey, and even though there’s quite a few I still have to read – I went and bought another one yesterday.

So I’m going to stop buying new books until I wade through the ones I’ve accumulated.  I’ll critique them as I devour them:

  1. Istanbul – The Collected Traveler – edited by Barrie Kerper
  2. Istanbul – Memories and the City – Orhan Pamuk
  3. Strolling Through Istanbul – Hillary Sumner-Boyd and John Freely
  4. Culture Shock Turkey – Marshall Cavendish
  5. The Western Shores of Turkey – John Freely
  6. Tales from the Expan Harem – Edited by Anastasia Ashman and Jennifer Eaton Gokmen
  7. The New Turkey – Chris Morris

And not Turkish – but Expat related:

Expat Womans True Tales of Life Abroad – edited by Christina Henry de Tessan
