Day One Hundred and Thirty-Seven of Sketching People

Continuing on with day 137 of my #Kick365 sketching challenge to draw people in ink and watercolour. Urban Sketching at the IMT office in Faro with some poetic reportage.

Urban Sketching at the IMT Office

Our second visit to the IMT office in Faro, where they deal with Portuguese driver’s licenses. Our appointment time was 9:30am, and they were so efficient. We arrived early, was seen almost immediately, and were out the door before our appointment time.

After my last trip to the IMT office, I thought I’d have plenty of time for sketching, but I only had time for a couple of quick sketches, and had to paint them and write the poem when I got back home.

It's their turn in this bureaucracy phase,
Both look like prisoners lost in the maze,
A sign on the wall says " be seen and not heard"
Silence in Golden. And the optimal word.
