Young Storytellers Foundation

Logo for YSFI let myself get talked into volunteering!

It’s a really busy time at my corporate castle; I’m also due to start my online degree class on the 14th – and most importantly I’m planning a trip to Turkey.

Not really a great time to be taking on additional commitments.  But as my “5 times a week in January” gym commitment has finally come to an end – I believe I have the energy to replace it with my new commitment to young storytellers foundation.

It’s 9 weeks as a script writing mentor — to a 5th grader – I’m assuming they’re about 10!  So for 1 hour, 1 lunchtime a week I’ll be helping a kid live his or her Hollywood dream.

I wonder who’ll get more out of the experience?
