On the Hunt for Sketching Talent
As a budding watercolour artist myself, I love surfing the internet looking for travel related watercolour paintings, that will inspire me to crack open the pallette and put paintbrush to paper more frequently.
On a recent surfing expedition, I came across art by Suhita Shirodkar, and what I love about her art is the mix of watercolour and ink, and of course the subjects she captures. She’s a self-proclaimed obsessive sketcher and graphic designer.

As I’m no longer living in Turkey, I’ve closed down my Bodrum website. But let me tell you – all of Suhita’s sketches were the primary reason I was inspired to explore and develop expressive sketching and watercolour. And it’s through her that I discovered Urban Sketching. So – fan girl moment – she changed my life!
