Traveled to Ayamonte Spain for a day of urban sketching. I sketched people at the cafe, a few buildings and an iconic statue in the square in old town. My watercolour pencils saved the day, and I used this day trip to experiment with page layout ideas and using spot colour for areas of focal point.

Travel south from Madrid, and in 30 minutes you can be wandering the cobbled streets of Spain’s original capital city Toledo.

One of the cheapest easiest ways to get from Barcelona Airport to the city centre is on their frequent Aerobus service. Buses leave every 5 minutes, every day of the year.
